I had this kit put on an 03 r65, however it would just turn the led light on showing the gearbox was low on oil. Dealer tried to get it to work with 1 or more software updates but had no success. So to make a long story short $300+ later, agco got paid for the parts, dealer got paid for parts and install, and I paid for a sensor that is unplugged(still there but useless) because it doesn't work. Dealer told me they were trying to figure it out(getting ready for second harvest since install) but they have yet to just offer my money back.

Go figure

thats the way it is suppose to work. On start up if box is low on oil red light will come on if it's full on start up and you lose oil during the day it won't alarm you. So more or less it's just makes it easier to check oil.

Snipe, it comes on once the sep is engaged and the box is full of oil. I didn't personally check the oil level before they unplugged it but the mechanic claimed it was fine. Dealer said they have 2 machines doing the same thing and they are both 03's.

Known issue. Agco is working on a software fix. As long as the light isnt red and the alarm doesnt sound everything is ok. The system only checks the level when you turn the key on. The light may turn amber at different times but is ok.

If the oil level is low at key on, the rotor light will turn red, the alarm will sound, and the display will say rotor gearbox oil low.

You might see if your EIP has the latest software installed. Dont know if the fix is available yet.
