That was the first reaction when I climbed into an S8 engine bay. You have to perform some acrobatic move to close the rotor door. I can set up a table between my engine and the rotor door on my 65. Its beginning to look like the only thing I'm liking about the new S8's are the wrap option. I haven't yet found my capacity limit on my 5 series, no reason to upgrade til it literally falls apart.fill up the engine compartment with arguably unnecessary systems, thus making the machine harder to work on.
