I agree and I generally don't run them but there are times when I need to. They are about 300x300mm. Better to have that much blocked off than find out later that half the cage was blocked and you can't take any notice of the rotor loss monitor because most of the time it shows nothing when you know there is loss. I have a camera and got some good video and pictures of what is happening. When I figure out how to post it I will

Thats interesting. Do you suppose its because the M.O.G. didn't get ground as fine, so carried out the end of the rotor?
I felt like the faster rotor speed was blowing the MOG through the cage. You could be right about faster speed was tearing plant material into small pieces but I think it was pushing MOG through cage from to much force.
