Running a 2017 S97 and a 2014 FD75 for the first time this fall. I ran the head previously on a MF 9790. I never used the AHHC on the Massey, just went return to cut and let the head float. We have pretty flat ground here in SE MN. Is this the recommended way to run it on the S97 or do you guys run the AHHC in addition to the mechanical float features of the FD 75?

You want to run your auto header height on it, it will make your life way easier. Put your header down until you are about #2 on your height gauge on the header. That is a good starting point to set your height, change the gauge wheels to make the height work out. If you need to go up or down just tip the header.

Go into the header page and set your width and change the header to power flow so you case use the reel for/aft button to run the angle/foraft on the macdon otherwise you have to reach over and use the tilt buttons on the console. Calibrate your header as well.
