Demoed a 16' in 230 bu+ cornstalk residue in sandy loam, 24" blades running 4.5"- 5" deep. 300 HP MFD running 7.5 was very impressive single pass doing the comparable work of 3-4 discings with my old sunflower disc and appeared to leave the field much more level and burying/blending 80% of the harvested trash. I'd appreciate comments of the "down and dirty" real world experiences with this tool.....I'm assuming replacement blades, etc will be very pricey indeed.... anyone use it in "new ground " where 6"cottonwood stumps had just been cleared ? The individual blades on rubber bushings that supposedly have 5" of vertical travel protection are appealing....
Thanks, GE5
