We have a seedhawk and the shear bolts keep breaking on the sowing tynes and the rubber seed tube has worn away at the bottom. Has anyone tried thhe new seedhawk tyne or dutch opners

Thinking of drilling bigger holes or even putting in a third bolt

I have heard of people changing original bolts to high grade CAT bolts. I have not seen any broken on the machine I am using now. Are you running through any stone?
The rubber seed tube you can loosen the two bolts on the clamp and drop it down and cut off with a knife at the same angle as the rest or loosen bolts, pull hose out and turn upside down.

You better have very good bits to drill the shanks, very hard steel.

Has there been any issues with the rool pins breaking that hold the seed knife inplace on the new seedhawk points
