Got our 6088 home last week. Does anyone know the starting point for serial numbers? Ours is *****0239. Is this the 239th one built or do they start at 100 perhaps? Also will the numbering sequence be just for 6088s or will it include 5088s, 7088s and the 20 series as they are coming down the line?

2009 production units start at 100. All prior s/n's were 2008 pre-build (test) units. The numbering sequence includes all models.

OK then, does the numbering sequence also includes the NH comines coming down the line at the same time? I expect not.

yes, the NH machines follow the same sequence.

It had to have been built in calender 2008 for the 2009 model year in order to have received it last week. For that matter, the chances are better (2:1) that he received it last year on Mon or Tue, rather than this year Friday.

Built Nov. 12th if I remember right. Arrived at dealer Dec. 1.
