According to Wikipedia; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camelina_sativa and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vavilovian_mimicry the Camelina is almost impossible to seperate from Flax. So if you grow Flax, the same setup should work perfectly.
From what I have seen, a sprayer with roundup is the ideal way to 'harvest' camelina. And that same machine is ideal for the years of weeds that follow.
Bah, if you did a burnoff before seeding, youll be fine. When we tried camelina, it seemed to work best to run the same setting for wheat with the exception of cranking the fan to max. Then we were able to get a whole 2 miles per hour without plugging the return every 50 meters. If you dont want to blow half of it out the back end, make sure you have an adjustable chaffer in(we had a non-adjustable airfoil chaffer that did not want to come out when we went to replace it in the field) or a fine mesh screen secured to your chaffer should work. If its the same deal as a couple years ago, they will atleast pay for 8% of the dockage. The pods split in half and the seeds do not want to come out of there.
