Any tips on getting a steeper angle on the FD70 MacDon
The ram looks like it needs to be longer
We need to almost dig out the stolons to lift up the clover seed heads that have flattened down with rain
Field is flat and has been Rolled several times for stones
Finger tips still 1/4.... to 1/2 inch about soil

Where are your skid plates? Can they be adjusted? Would letting the reel down more help, I have had to use the reel to pick up down wheat that I could not get under with the cutter bar. That would be the easiest and quickest adjustment.

Thanks for ideas
Feeder is tipped right forward and I did try putting the reel down but it just shatters the clover heads before hitting the cutterbar
Skid plates are up as well
Normally clover stands upright and you get every head easily
Gonna try extending the ram re Dons posting.....see Headers
cheers
