Does Case-IH make a external sieve adjuster attachment for a 2188? I think I've seen them on the later 23's and wondered if they would retrofit.

I can see now that it's not real easy to adjust them when you have the factory chaff spreader attachment.

Yes, we have installed them on ours. Hardest part if you are a particular type is cutting a nice looking slotted hole in the side of the machine for the rods to come through. It took us some time with a die grinder to make the first attempt look decent.

Also, you will want to keep an eye on the little pins that retain the adjusting lever, after 900 hours or so ours had a tendency to lose the little spring loaded ball and pop out, which allows the sieve to adjust itself.

Did you by chance also rig up any sort of meter to show where they are set for your control box? That would be cool.

yes.i can tell by position from turn knobs in control unit.i was first guy here to make up the kit with a uk electronic crowd.we can put in a digital readout also .i will post all details ,costs etc if any interest.cheers.andy

Sounds like a great setup. My main question would be does the actuator have internal limit switches, or did you have to make your own?
