I have a friend that is looking at trading into a pair of CIH 7120's. The discussion came up whether to get the small tube rotor or the regular rotor. The crops he will be harvesting with his machines are wheat, oats, peas, canola, durum, soybeans and milo. Which rotor would be the best all around fit for these crops? TIA

depends on te field condition. If it is high yield and wet so ST is mush better. If it is dry and low yield you may have troubles by "filing it up" (rotor must be loaded to work properly) in that case you will need to have very wide header or drive very fast with ST rotor.
