This is quite a bit off topic of snakeoil, but when you talk about rodents control I actually think some of the things that kill mice are almost as bad as the mice themselves. I put skunks in this category as seems like every Fall I have a close call or bad experience with one or more of these at harvest time. I may have found an accidently good method for reducing the skunk population as noted this Spring just after seeding have found 3 dead skunks out in fields. It seemed a bit curious what was killing them, but noticed their proximity to some plugged opener checks of treated Barley and Peas and have to think that may be good skunk bait. I am sure it will not be too many more years before seed treatment will become as hated as gopher poison so probably should stock up.
