One roll on my geringhoff head does spin with the other one can turn freely by hand. How do rolls come off. Removed bolts on front end but still won't pull off

It is likely a gear in the gear box that is striped or broken. You are gonna have a bi job ahead of you. If it were me at this time of the year I would throw a new gearbox on and fix and keep the other one for a spare. Unless time and snow isn't a concern.
