I run a 1660 4 row wide. I couldn't combine today because i was losing to much corn because of snow buid up on sieve. My neighbor runs a 2388 and he combined all day, though he was going pretty slow. I need help for adjustments asap please. thanks.
my experience is with corn and sunflowers. We either have to let it melt off which takes forever or wait till temps stay 25F or lower then it all blowes out the back.
open sieves turn up fan and throw a salamander and whisp broom in the back of the truck and a nice pair of coveralls. if your neighbor never stopped all day i would say that he took the i want to get done approach and was pukin it out the back.
