South African barley and wheat harvest on its way

Is swathing / windrowing common practice over there?

Yes windrowing is a normal practice in our area,high winds during October and November learned us a lesson many times

The wheat in photos is SST 88,a local wheat variety and the yield were 3.6 tonne per hectare

Were in our last week of harvest and hope the weather will hold

We were blessed with an above normal yield this year
