Hey guys,

The madness continues in Australia with the virus but us farmers never stop as we all know, looking at planting some Persian Clover with some hay oats this year and was wondering what is a good ratio for the oats too clover?

Well nobody answered you, Persian clover is not common here, but I did 6lbs/Ac sweet clover with oats and it was very thick, no weeds at all could compete with the sweet clover and oats. Of course some people call sweet clover a weed.

Hi
We down in SA and we sow 10-12kg of clover with 80-90kg oats. All in Ha. Usually graze, cut silage or hay then let the clover go for seed production.
