I would like to hear from several of you as to what speed you harvest corn using 12 row head in 150 corn and above.

We have (2)- 9870 deeres and try to run 4 to 4.5 but my neighbor talks about 6-8 mph with a 9770 and 12 row. this past year yields were about 120-150 bpa.

about 4.2 was the limit in 200 bu at 25% corn. It changes a lot depending on moisture. We are also running a 612 chopping head, when unloading on the go we are down to 3.5-ish on flat land. 9770 with the 5 spd feederhouse.

I ran 4.5 - 5.0 in 19 to 21% corn that was running 150 to 160. 9770 with 1293 knife head. If I went over 5.0 I was waiting for the cart!

9870 w/ 612C 4.5 tops in 150-200bu corn. I always think there is something wrong with my combine cuz everyone talks about going 6 mph and I can never get there, so I'm glad to hear other guys in the same boat.
