Started cutting soybeans Saturday with our new to us R62. Man will that machine make harvest easier. Went from 2 L2's to 1 L2 and R62. Couldn't have went any better with our first attempt with the rotary on the farm. Only little complaint driving down the road the front windshield squeaks a lot. In the field is better but will still squeak some. Sounds just like the old pick-up truck door on a rough road with a dry rubber seal. I notice those brackets in the corner of the windows have a rubber pad between them but the noise sounds up higher toward the top of glass. We didn't notice the glass moving but something is obviously dry. Before tearing into it didn't know if anybody else has experienced this before and what you did to fix the problem? Other than that those machines are smooth!!! Thanks.

chevyman2995,

So are you saying your squeak was coming from where the top of the windshield presses againt the rubber seal? That sounds very similar to ours. Did you have to loosen any of those brakets that hold the window in place to get your silicon in there? Thanks for the help.
