Has anyone had an issue with stalk stompers collecting and dragging trash under the head? We have had an aweful time with them this year. It's a CaseIH 3406 corn head with AHHC. There are only two stompers, not the full set of six. The trash builds up bad enough that it plugs the row and sends the slip- clutches singing. It took out a gearbox this last time. It's probably never an issue until you have down corn and need to run the head close to the ground.
