I'm looking to buy a 2188 or 2388 for doing some local custom harvesting. I'll be doing mostly wheat and milo, but we are talking about doing corn also. Any direction on weather the standard or speacialty rotor would be better for my application?

My only experience with the specialty rotor was on a rented 1666 back in the early '90s. We had trouble getting a good sample in wheat. From what I hear the standard rotor is better in wheat; it also does a very good job in corn and milo.

I've kinda been leaning towards the standard rotor, although my neighbor was slaughtering milo with the speacialty. i've heard that the standard gives a better bin samle n wheat. Also I was currious is an AFX conversion worth the 2G's our should i stick with the old elephant ears in a 2188?
