Steer feed out for extra money

I've recently heard about a deal where I could feed out steers that belong to another individual and I get paid for the weight they gain. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this setup and is there a company that you might recommend for this? Also any idea what price per lb can be expected or pros and cons of this particular deal. I only heard that there are people who do this but don't have any contact info or any plans that are final. Any information would be a big help. Thanks
