I have 81 for sale well, half of what new is... thanks
Why are you selling? Are these chips overrated? I thought everyone that has them loves them. I talked to Taber Diesel yesterday and they sold 18 yesterday and were fresh out! He told me that they derate back to OEM in conditions where possibly engine is being overworked ie. hotweather.

$3400 for a chip for a CR8090 (10.3 Liter Iveco) seems a bit steep to me. I am looking around. I will try suppliers in the US. Maybe it is a monopoly and the price will be the same there! Still, if it is such a good chip why part with them?

I run steinbauers in all equipment, have never left me hanging, the 7120 raised boost from 45psi to 52psi, so I knew it was working and does some gph benifits as well...

Never had the limp mode happen your taking about in any equipment to date, they all pulled fine

To test performance modules if they are making a difference, just watch your maximum boost before and after, extra fuel will always make extra boost... On the 7120 I plugged the wast gate off from turbo as well for a little extra... It hung with the 81 all day long

Bought a 9230 this year and and bought another steinbauers for it, so the 7120 and 8120 are not needed

Not at all does extra boost bring about more power in allot of situations.
Pushing a charger harder alot of times just makes more hot air the cooler cant handle and actually does nothing but make the boost gauge rise.

Second with no second party combine dyno around and no farmer or dealer I know of pulling engines to test the claims of the programmers. I would take allot of the claims with a grain of salt.

Third I have seen the ill affects of so called chipping on ag equipment such as fuel spraying outside the piston bowl cauliflower d piston bowls. holes in pistons more common on HPCR engines the excess rail pressure splits the injector tip. And cyl wall washing a non chipped engine will have the cross hatch on the wall at lets say 1500hrs just to use a number and I acutally just seen a deer with 300hrs chipped from day one using oil put the boreskope down and shiny non hatch cyl walls and one cyl had severe bowl overspray (cauliflowed piston) also head bolts stretching and head gasket failures are a failure point even when using the MLS head gaskets.

Fourth I used to play jokes on guys tune up a guys truck make the power come on different puff some smoke j hook the waste gate to make the turbo bark a bit. 99% of guys would get a big grin say oh **** its got atleast 150hp more and in reality it would be about the same as the stock truck they brought in.

what I am trying to say is seat of the pants combine tractor dyno and wishfull thinking can lead to alot more bull crap around then just in the feedlot

especially when a guy spends 3400 to 4000 dollars on somthing you really wana see some return on ivestment. just a thing or two to keep in mind if you wana chip (lays or fritos your choice) a machine you plan on keeping.
