Stripe rust showing up on my HRWW. Flowering is complete, berries are 1/4 to 1/2 formed. Do I still need to do a fungicide app.? At what stage does rust not hurt yield? We just don't know much about rust here, only seen it once in the last 20 years.

Stripe rust is one of the worst...We usually spray for it at 7node to flag leave... so not sure about that late in the season. Lately we rather spray for preventing than stopping the problem, worth the dollars.

If there is a big yield potential, I'de still do it.

I did put on 2oz of Priaxor with Herbicide but that was just before flag leaf.

Where about in mt are you? I have not seen ant here but waiting for its ugly head to appear . Last time I had some I had done some fungicide early i noticed it just starting forecast was for dry and hot about same stage as you ....I wish I would have resprayed some more fungicide ..parts of the field were ok some parts crap load of straw and very little and very light grain....

Crow Res. south of Hardin. It showed up 10 miles south of me three weeks ago I was just ready to spray so thru in sum Priaxor lookin like a very nce crop till now.

What is priaxor registered for in Montana? In Alberta it is used on pulse crops. Hear talk of trials going on in canola.
