Having trouble with heater fan motor runs for a while shuts down for a few minutes then starts up then shuts down has a mind of its own any troubleshooting I should look at thank you

There is a connector underneath the seat at the ac evaporator the wire that sends power to the fan motor gets hot and makes a bad connection we’ve pulled the wires and butt connected them.
