Ground conditions here are starting to get pretty soft with harvest just getting underway. Thinking about swapping 20.8-42 duals to Titan 1100/45R46 floaters. Wondering if anyone has done this and if they float much better than the duals? Thanks.
Can't comment on a swap but I have run the 1100's.
They are absolutely the highest tire you can put on your combine which helps with flotation as well, not as klutzy as duals.
Is your combine 4WD? These tall tires do load the hydro up more, 4WD acts to gear it down.
Not sure what header your using but 1100's would still need in the 30 psi area for long term anyway.
I have never seen it as wet in my life here as it is now guys with the new big rigs that get around best are running triples on front...some duals on back...no doubt tracks would be best but you run what you brung
Sorry...I lack the knowledge or I would gladly put up pics of neighbors 680
