The only thing I saw what was wrong with the pictures was lack of tracksWhy did you not get tracks?
Looks great tho, Should get may hours of trouble free harvesting now. Enjoy!
Have always ran Deere's before, both conventional and STS's.Looks nice... What were you running before this machine ?
I direct cut my A. Seed after its been defoliated. Seed harvest usually gets cranked up the end of August around here.Looking forward to the pictures of your sample csfi. One in your hand and one straight on top of the grain tank would be good. Never did ask, do you direct head the lucerne or swath? It will be amusing to know how many times you go looking for the two spots on the rear axle where the dark green paint wears away!!!! When does it start?
I do like those colours. Lime green and white is not the best mix.
One day i might see if the S series rethrasher will help in this crop.
Well for one it's always bone dry here during harvest, for two I didn't want to spend another 40-50K on an already 500K machine! And finally I really don't like tracks on my established stands of A. Seed, they tend to do stand damage when they turn. Why did you not get tracks?

SC, yes I does have the hydraulic fore/aft and its tipped back not quite all the way in those pics. I'll get some more pictures posted up, right now I have all the screens pulled working on getting some round holes built for it.A few things I notice...
likely has hydraulic fore/aft on feeder faceplate. It looks tilted back pretty far.
unloading auger looks small, especially with a machine that has such large tyres (had to spell it that way when it pertains to a German machine!)
How about some more pics. I would like to see the chopper/spreader area.
Better do your mods now while its clean!
Screens?I have all the screens pulled working on getting some round holes built for it.
Don, as Claas has no plans to ever make A. Seed a supported crop I did not get it with CEMOS Auto. I just don't grow the crops that they are supporting here in my area.Screens?
Chaffer/sieves?
Can't member as my daughter used to say, did you get CEMOS Automatic and/or TM 6 sieves?
Ok, I see.Don, as Claas has no plans to ever make A. Seed a supported crop I did not get it with CEMOS Auto. I just don't grow the crops that they are supporting here in my area.
As far as Chaffer's/Sieves go I got it with TM6 top and bottom. But will be running 1/8" or slightly bigger than 3mm round hole screens under a TM6 Chaffer mostly.
Funny you should ask, when I first stuck my head in there and started looking at removing the chaffer I was thinking (man this looks complicated!) Its really not........it is quite well though out and simple to remove. I had a lot less trouble doing it than I do with any of my Deere's and that was my first time with a Claas. Next go around will probably take half the time to do it.What did you think of the process of removing the chaffer? After doing it a time or two, I have found it to be very easy, especially compared to a 2388. The first time I did it, I made it a bit too complicated and took a few too many bolts off.
Do you have steep hills? Have you considered adding a "hillside divider" down the middle of each left and right section? I think I might do that. 3-D seems to work great in corn but could be better in soybeans and wheat.
I have heard Claas makes a divider, but have never seen it or a part number.
