Sad... The only guys making the money are seed, and fertlizer, and chemical company's... We need to wake up
We need them to help us out a little and we are gonna need rents and land prices to come down too. My cost is putting in all the groceries and I certainly hope to consistently break 40 bpa but with all these wet years it is getting tough.

Mine are around $340. Doesn't leave much room for a poor crop at $10 canola.
Is this just seed/Fert/chem? I haven't grown canola for a few years but will probably start again next year for crop rotations. Where I farm I think breaking 30 bpa is a good goal, my costs are going to have to be way less than that. Please help me out.

Thanks for the replies, seems like its ranging anywhere from 200 to 300 an acre, and yes if the factor is 10 a bushel thats pretty hard to profit, and with some areas with all these rains i dont think it will make it.
