Attached below is the latest propaganda by the dictator as presented to the analysts:

http://www.agcocorp.com/company/events.aspx

If you don't have time to listen to this load of crap, it can be summarized as follows:

*Question regarding the huge fallout from dropping the AGCO Orange tractor: The only people upset are those people that own Allis-Chalmers tractors and are stuck in the old days!

*What is the situation with Yancey and Foley dropping Challenger? They were not very good business people and didn't understand how to market.

*How will these territories be covered? Ve Vill bring in neighboring Cat dealers to cover these areas. (Got that Foley and Yancey? You will soon have neighboring company in your territories), also, according to that current strategy: SOL Lang Diesel!

*How is the Challenger combine doing? More CAT dealers are becoming engaged, and they will soon be dropping the Lexion in favor of the Challenger combine. (I am sure, especially since the Challenger is going to the SISU engine in place of the CAT engine in the class 8.) Won't be long according to the dictator that Lexion will close the plant in Omaha.

He also reiterated that NA will be going to 2 brands. How does Gleaner fit in this scenario?

What is truly amazing is that this knothead is still CEO of AGCO after making such comments and knowing his thought process!

Hopefully this knothead has enough sense to sell the gleaner before running it to the ground because it is obvious he wants the gleaner to fail.
There is no way cat dealers are going to push challenger combines over the lexion and forcing the omaha plant to close.
Why would cat dealers want to sell for agco
This moron would be better off dropping the yellow color than the orange color or just change the name from agco to mf
what a looser

hammer, mf will not make it without the original allis dealers and some are going mf but there are also some not going to switch and will just stop selling new equipment. Most of these original allis dealers are family owned and loaded with debt and will just say the heck with it, because it will be a good time to get out of new business.
Most original massey dealers have been shut down for 20 years because in the 80's they had nothing to sell whether it was a tractor or combine, look how many combines massey has put there name on since then which was named different before mf.
We do own 2 newer massey tractors and 1 agco allis tractor beside other brands so I feel I can argue these posts.
If there was 1 dominate power in agco they should go that route but there is not, agco can not and will not survive without the original allis dealers and what they are doing with trying to make an agco yellow I will never fiquire that out, why did lexion allow cat to sell agco equipment?

I never understood Cat selling their Ag Division to Agco, bet they wish they had kept it since the drop in industrial equipment last two years. Sometimes these companies make moves that don't make sense.

lol Agco is a global company and within the Agco umbrella Massey makes up for about 60 to 65% of TOTAL company sales, the orange line of tractors combined with the Gleaner combines don't amount to 1%.The Gleaner will live on because its a good product and it has some history behind it but it is time to shed the orange tractor, just not worth the time.I get a kick how people always think that what is selling in their little area is whats happening in the big bad world.

Hammerman,
What you are talking about is the global sales. They are not changing them. They are changing the NA market. So the numbers in NA is what everyone is talking about. AGCO is on a mission to move out of NA. What is so hard to see about this? Gleaner and Agco tractors make up alot more then 1% of the NA sales. So what they are saying is we dont care about the NA market or what is selling in NA, we are only concerned about the global market. The NA market isnt anything anyway just ask John Deere.................. Kubota does pretty well in the NA market, but of course there trying to,and supporting there dealers and customers.

I would like to know where all these mf's are in the states, way more orange than mf's, for all that matters it takes nothing to run them through an orange paint booth, agco would sell alot more tractors if they would sell some orange rather than not getting the sales on the tractor because they went green or case red.
Trust me sales will fall, just like jd guys have green undies, there are guys that have orange undies.
hammer, I would really like to know where your percentages come from, globally mf's probably due sell more but I doubt it in NA

Is there anyone out there not *****ing about the orange paint going away? I've got a yellow Challenger/Agco/Cat MT, if they decide to paint it MF red I guess I'll have to decide myself whether paint makes the tractor. It is too bad Cat didn't just stay in Ag or Claas should have bought the MT line and I really could have cared less about what Agco does.

Dear Agco, please sell the MT line back to Cat or Claas. Tell your CEO everyone hates him and offer orange paint as an option.

There, lets see if anything comes out of those remarks.

Millhouse, that was very entertaining but i think the beef is more with what they are trying to do to the dealers then the paint color. AGCO hasn't shown great support for its dealers in NA and that is what the fuss is about. Honestly it probably doesn't cost much of anything to offer their tractors in Allis orange, its a simpler paint job then the MF so why not if it keeps people buying. More then the color driving away customers though, is the fear of losing dealer support for the their new 200k tractor.
