Some knowledge on the Rotor drive and efficiency
You have 3 manual settings
Range 1.220-450rpm (In the ops manual)
2.420-780
3.730-1180
At approx the mid point off all the three ranges you have the engine providing the drive.
In all ranges it is better to speed up and run higher from that mid point rpm.
The hydraulic system will use more available power if you go below the midpoint in all three ranges. When you plug your rotor that same hydraulic motor that allows the machine that de slug capability gives the machine variable rotor rpm.
BE 100% SURE you got it in the detent if you have to shift gears in the rotor gearbox.
