tier 4 regen cycle?

Is it true the newest tier 4 combines from Deere have a regen cycle you have to stop the combine and let it do a DPF burn out cycle on every 30-50 hours? I hear it even has proximity sensor for the exhaust because it gets so hot. Emissions..... Someone must have a delete kit for something like this?

Oh, that would go over real well, where do I check the option box for that?;)
No.
Likely the worst thing you could do, it would be better off loaded as much as possible when filter cleaning is in progress.
Which is why I asked. Years ago, 2008 was when I left that job, I spent many hours working on diesel exhaust emission systems in underground mine. They have came a long ways since then. DEF is the only system I never had to touch after it was installed. Everything with a diesel injection regen system has given me a sour taste. Or any regen system that requires an external heat source. I hope it has been figured out.
Would a combine have many re-gen issues due to the type of work they do?
