Tire repair

1680 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  CDN
I ran over a metal feed bunk that was hiding in the weeds with the front tire of our 4440. It has new 4 rib tires on the front and I sliced the inside rib all the way through and into the body of the tire, but not into the cords. Is there anything that can be done to keep the flap attached or prevent it from tearing farther?

Some of the smaller tires are hard to do section or spot repairs on, depending on what size the tire is and what size heads your local shop has for it's clamps, it may or may not be a possibility.
It is likely the best way to fix it properly though.
