TR88 in Wheat

Started Wheat on Friday. Few problems. Dealer doesn't stock what we needed. Had to wait till Saturday to get them in. Then we got rolling.

Beautifull Beautifull tractor. Lots of power. Cab is great. Console moves back and forth so you can reach the gear shift where its most confortable for you. Supersteer is well, you know about it. At the time it was a great invention but now everyone can turn that sharp. Still is nice to see that axles move around.

Yes they are/were a very nice tractor. We have sold lots of them. I like them a lot better than the new TG's. We have had some engine problems with the new TG's (8.3L), but I don't like anything that is Case.

I only know of 1 TG in this area and it's a TG285 with huge tires. Lost of TM and older NHs with less then 145hp. Lots of Genesis in this area. Everyone won't buy a Case now since they put the NH into them. One guy told the Case dealer that as he traded in his MXM for a Deere. Get that NH out of it. He ran an MX120 before that MXM and it went alot time but that MXM had a short life. NH made a stupid move selling off that line to Buhler and their laughing all the way to the bank. LOTS of Buhlers in this area. NH dealer sells more of them then any NH tractor 145-225hp.

I heard the other day that Agco had the chance to buy the Genesis and Versatile and New Holland and blew it. I would really love to see that tractor in orange!

Well anybody had the chance to buy the Genesis and Versatile lines, but Buhler allready was making them and had the plant set up for it so made an easy choice for them. Never heard they could have bought NH but i'm sure that would of required billions and AGCO just didn't have. The Genesis looks good in any colour, even the colours now. But this TR88 will likely be traded in on a CR940 soon. Dealers working out the numbers now.

Its a NH. NH makes it and it's not just another combine repainted.
