Hey Guys,

Ran a rock through our tr98 and the corner deflector at the front of the rotor housing was one of the damaged parts. The new cast part does not fit nearly as well as the original leaving about a 3/16" gap along most of the side. Should I not worry about this and let it fill with straw and trash or do some tweaking to the part to get a tight fit in this rather busy area?

Thanks

We had a simular case a few years ago with our tr 98 and we just filled the gap with some strong filling to get back out the paddock as it was in the middle of harvest. Had the broad elevator off a couple of years later and was still fine. Being cast i would not mess around with it, may weaken it.

Thanks for the replies. Under closer inspection the sheetmetal the corner fits to was a bit bulged out from brother-in-law using tr as a rock crusher. Had a hydraulic ram autobody guys use and pushed the sheetmetal back tight to the corner so it looks just like the original on the otherside. Got her all back together just in time for some rain showers.
