The little sound board ( silver box on door side of feeder house ) has a low and high sensitivity switch on it. Run it on low always. We set by the book normally, but if entering heavy canola we crank the tension right up on the door or it will drive you crazy. Keep feeder chain tight, there is also extra rollers you can add to the feeder house to quiet the feeder chain. Raise the stone roll up and have at er. We are on mainly stone free land so not afraid to tighten the door up if needed. Can be very annoying otherwise.

This is a very common problem with TR combines. All suggestions so far were the right ones. It is up to you to decide how many trips are acceptable depending on how stony your land is. If not stony keep that door tension high. Good luck!
