reel Right back as far as it will go and try and push the Canola down onto the belts with it. Change pitch of reel fingers so it’s not picking it up and flicking it around. Maybe even cable tie plastic bats cut from shuttles or old Draper mat to the reel tubes to push down the Canola
We have a 30', 1042 header and we've been able to straight cut canola, won't set any speed records, have to drive a little slower, but it will feed. Seems like you need to find the sweet spot for reels and header height and then leave it there.
