Looking at upgrading our extractor and need something that will do 12 foot bags as we got a 12 ft bagger this year. I like the look of the tridekon extractor and am looking to hear from some people who run it. Do they work well in 12 foot bags? It looks like they have quite a few improvements over the older versions that we demod several years ago. I like the driven and steerable wheels on the extractor. Anyone running the 16" version? More capacity than is actually needed or is the added capacity nice to have? How do they stand up in the long term? Any issues with all the pto shafts and joints?

One concern i had is if there is rotten grain in the bottom of the bag then it looks much more difficult to cut holes in the bag and pull out the rotten stuff. Maybe this isn't a concern, would be nice to hear from someone running this extractor.

12 feet is the largest for grain bagging. 10 is most common but 12 makes bags cheaper to buy, less time between reloading bags and bagger moves ahead much slower when loading with a grain cart.
