I would like to update my 250 trimble to the 3.10 version. is there a trick to this or should I get my three year old grand daughter to help? thought all the updates were free.

yup tried that and winzip wants 29.95 to register.

what are you using for computer i have never paid to extract a file ever. there are all kinds of free zip software. i will see if i can find you a link.

if you have windows try this, i use this one for Win 7

no luck, watched video hundred times, loaded win zip, might have to call in seven year old expert to help.

I found the first part of video a bit confusing - now remember, computers , there is many ways of doing same thing.

I do same with either Windows 7 or on my Ubuntu system-

- save firmware to download file (do not open or run)
-right click on saved compressed file and extract to same download folder
-then just drag it to your USB drive

If you download it to and extract it to same folder, you do not loose where it is!!

yup just that simple ,now to get it loaded and running an ez steer.version 1.0 would not run it.
