Hey everyone,

So my dad and I bought a FM750 with EZ steer and put it in our 7110 CaseiH Magnum. We are using it for planting and we are pulling a 12 row 30" John Deere 1760. It doesn't seem to be very accurate though. Its usually off by like 15 inches and I hate always having to hit the "shift to here" button everytime I turn around on the ends. I have neighbor who says his is usually right on. Anybody have any ideas what wrong with it? (bad calibration on our part) Or is that just the way it is? I guess I don't like some rows of corn being 45 inches apart and some only 15 inches apart. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

15" everytime? Make sure your offsets are correct for were the antenna is positioned on your tractor. Then make sure your implement is directly behind the tractor. If antenna is off center and it thinks it is centered you will be off each time you turn around. I run rangepoint with 750 on my sprayer. I have been very happy.

I also started using rangepoint this year and it worked really good once I did what NESASK said. The problem was I had already planted some. The change is made in the settings screen under the GPS tab then GPS set up and select Rangepoint on the list.

Alright, thanks for all the input. I believe I did go through and select Rangepoint, but maybe for some reason i selected the wrong one. I'll check tomorrow. For the most part I do like the system. I really like it when it is on, but when it's off by like 15 inches it really torques me off. We also used the tractor for spreading fertilizer and it worked great for that.

Diesel Dan, how do you set it to one satellite? I'll look through it tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.

Thanks for all the help
