First post here. I have changed over from trimble RTK to JD RTK, (bought a new 550 bu air cart and gs2630, run JD header as well) I am having a lot of problems getting JD to recognise my old run lines. I have tried all the methods in the manual, I am thinking I may have to set new AB's as close to old trimble ones as I can physically get in the paddock. We try to seed in same rows every year as we are in low rainfall area. Has anyone had success changing from Trimble to JD?

It is my understanding that JD uses a different method for their lines than all of the other GPS companies. I can't remember exactly, but I think it has something to do with True North versus Grid North. The Deere version all converges to a single point as you go north whereas the other guys just use it like you would see on a grid. The point is I think you will have to set up new lines. Hopefully someone else can correct me if I am wrong.
