We had a choice between a 8680 and a TX66 we went with the TX66, partly because the 66 was closer to home but would have gone with either one. We have a farmer in this area the logged over 2600 hours on a TX 68 with little or no trouble with it, he traded it for a CX8080 last year. I do like the leveling shoe, (neat to watch in the field) as we do have hills in this area. However one thing I would change in the engine. Would have preferred the 8.3 cummins in the 8680 over the 7.5 New Holland in the 66.

any thoughts out there in the NH community about my proposed upgrade, the 760 silver has had enough of the 25ft canola swath, i'm keenly interested to get some comments about power, capacity in comparison to the others, as well as that leveling shoe on the TX, seems no one else is going with that system?
