TX 68 Plus 1999 - Loss of header height control
Fault coming up after engaging threshing and machine has been working for around an hour.
Has Code 14 come up, manual says loss of communication. Have checked fuse panel on right hand side of machine. Checked fuses, checked fuse power - no faults. Still has power across fuse when fault is active. Changed solenoids over from auger in and out when fault was active and front will lift up and down off that control circuit.
This machine has optic fibre wiring installed. Was told from local dealer to trim the end of the optic fibre because it gets cloudy over time and can lose its signal, have done this and still no change. Running out of options to test. If machine sits over night, it will operate correctly in the morning for around an hour of work. It seems something is getting hot and causing it to cut out. Any help would be much appreciated!

Check out the circuit board A3 in the cabinet. Its the one with the single very big connector. Maybe connection is bad or something on the board will look bad. Sounds like you did what the book recommended for error 14, and last option is to replace A3, hopefully you don't need to.
Are you getting power to the connector at the solenoid?

Good Luck

thanks we have found the problem looks to be a burn out diode on circuit board closest to the cab we are getting it repaired
