I have a Tye 15 foot coulter caddy drill with a small seed attachment that I have used for many years to drill no-till wheat. I have never used the small seed attachment, and was thinking about drilling around 50 acres of alfalfa this year. Have any of you folks had any experience with the small seed units on these drills? Do they produce a decent stand? Any experience or advice on producing alfalfa is also more than welcome. The last time I had much to do with alfalfa was as a kid, and we used a hand broadcast spreader and marker flags to sew it. Thanks
