On our 2188, we have the floor auger flow restrictor plates pulled all the way up for wheat and barley. Do we need to lower them down when we are combining soybeans? The mechanic here said that they need to do that for human consumption beans or it will wreck the augers, but he has no knowledge regarding soybeans. What are your thoughts?

I would think you'd want them down in wheat. So, if it didn't bother in wheat, it shouldn't in beans. We ran with all up and i even removed one in soybeans and corn with our 2188.
