I have a few earlier post with my problem...Tore machine down yesterday....well everything except pittman arm on right side...got to consult manual on how to remove it...

i was suprised to find the brace that connects the top sieve frame rails down in the clean grain auger...no damage to auger as i can tell...there is a new brace installed with the sticker still on it...quess they didnt bother to pull the old brace out of machine 1st? THANKS!!

anyway only trouble i see is that the seed pan is cracking a little...should i weld it, replace it, run it? i know those things are pricey...it may have been cracked earlier because there was signs of metal to metal contact in the oval cutouts where bushings run...any other stress points to check while im in there?? only 700 sep hrs

I would also check the bushings on the shaker drive arms to see that they aren't hammered out especially the one on the right hand side ( you know the one in the &&^&%%&^ing spot behind the clean grain elevator . If one side hammers out it will cause a twisting action on the seives and frame which will cause cracking as one side is lagging behind the other when driven by the arms .
