Wondering if anyone has used a dedicated onewire driver chip like the ds248X chips with an Arduino to read temperature cables? Was able to find a couple libraries out there that sound like they should work. Thinking that this could potentially increase reliability of onewire networks and reduce some issues with using 3.3v microcontrollers as well.

Thanks for the link. So are you running one arduino per bin?

Yes I think one per bin is more reliable.
