So we have been looking at installing a valmar on our 70ft Brandt 7000 series heavy Harrows. We are looking at having the setup just in case we wanna do some granular herbicide or if we have to broadcast in canola again like we did this year, I priced out a 3255 last week and was a bit surprised at how much they were so I kinda weighed out a couple options. We have a 320 series sitting on an old ccil cultivator, needs a little TLC and it could be back in working order no problem, from what I have seen it has the same amount of outlets as the 3255, we might have to give up a couple little luxuries by using the old one but it's just sitting there and is more than capable of doing the same job. I am just wondering if anyone has some pictures or has installed a 320 on a set of brandts? If you have do you have any little bits of advice to make the installation a bit easier, does the Brandt install from valmar possibly work for the 320? Any input or advice is welcome

As long as the 320 is in good shape (not rusted, etc), then I would look at using it since you have it already. Just picked up a 1620 myself for a future project. What luxuries are you giving up? You can always add clutches, air gauges, etc if you want them!

Can't help with the install as we don't have a Brandt harrow...

The 320 is still in relatively good shape, if I was to go with a 3255 you can have half sectional control and hydraulic metering, which isn't a big deal but would be a nice feature, but for what they want I will most likely do some rebuild work on the 320 and mount it on the harrows instead
