1988 with DT466 355,000 miles, 18ft dump, air brakes, 26,500 gvwr, rear pintle hitch, 5 speed with 2 speed rear, no a/c, clean looking truck. What are trucks like that bringing in your area. The only thing that bothers me is the 355k miles. Also, isn't 26,500 gvwr low for a 1900 series truck? How much life is left in that motor before it needs overhauled? seller asking $7,000

Price of a truck like that around here brings the value of the box, hoist and tarp. Deduct if the tires are poor or cab is full of mouse crap. Now if its at a farm auction, all bets are off. Could go for less, but if its cleaned up nice it could bring double what they are asking. Colin.

7k sounds fair 466 is pretty good, some how defies science and gets good fuel economy at high rpms, if it is well taken care of that engine will last a good long time yet
