Read some older posts but didn’t seam to be much experience with the now not so new EFI’s. How have they been performing? As in starting in the cold and not breaking down. Looking at 31-35 HP for 8x46 meridian. Trying to decide between card and EFI. Thanks

I had a thread on here about my Kohler EFI running rich. My exhaust sensor is now unplugged but when the weather warmed up it seems to be running fine again. Most of it's life it has been very reliable but I am convinced it doesn't like cold weather.

Our 35 vanguard is two years old and it has been awesome. Starts any temp.
Two things so far, exhaust is broke between muffler and engine, Koehler did same thing.
When it is -30 or colder take the crankcase vent out or it will freeze up and cause the crankcase to pressure up and blow the crank seal out.
Lots of power for 10x49.

2 years! :22: We have a 35hp carb that’s 10 years old, probably augered 3 million bushels and still runs awesome. Gets absolutely no love never covered and as dependable as the day we bought it.
