Versatile 950 with a 903 Cummins being used on the harrows but looking to add a case drain for a back up tractor to seed with. Currently have a larger hydraulic pump on it so should have enough to run older Bourgault single fan tank.

Wondering how or what is the best way to run the case drain, and is it possible to have a filter on that line or would it create too much back pressure? Where is the best place to tie it into? The top of the tank above oil level?

Has anyone been using there 903 Cummins to run a airseeder (I know probably 25-30 years ago)?

Run back to the reservoir tank will be the least back pressure.
I'm not convinced the case drain needs a separate filter.
Even 1 set of couplers could potentially add 50 psi back pressure.
A good fan motor will have very little case drain return flow, it just needs to free flow is all.

What’s the best type of couplers to add? Those flat surface high flow ones than would those allow for less restriction?
