Does anyone know how to set up a field boundary with a Raven Viper 4 and to be able to get an area measurement within the boundary. It would be nice to be able to know what is left in a field for the last mix.

Please let us all know when someone figures that out. I've been running a viper 4 for 2 years now and still no boundary. Also too many steps to move the line over a few feet. Thinking of putting the lastest update on but sometimes these things turn into a disaster.
I got Outback, Raven, and Deere on the farm and Deere is the best one that I like.

I have a Viper 4 with the latest update. When you open up the boundary button you have to add + what event on the second tab ,you then go to the first tab and you can select boundary now. Push the red button. You have to select if you want the line moved to the edge of the boom. Now you hit start on this screen.Once you are around you manually have to stop job to close. Now go to bottom of screen and go into screen selections. Now touch inside boundary for acres.Whew a lot easier on the viper pro .

I use boundaries on my Viper 4 across all my paddocks and if done properly works well, if you do an incorrect one simply delete and do it again next time.
To start with you need to have the mapping widget on your work screen and access through that. Remember to save with an appropriate name. Really helps to read the manual as you do it here.
Once you have succesfully mapped your fields click the screen icon at the bottom of your work screen, select the next screen left and there you can click on the picture of your paddock to get details of area, altitude, coverage etc.
Next time you enter the paddock remember to select that boundary to start with.
